This 56 year old busy mother was unhappy with what she saw in the mirror. Fair skinned, and blue eyed, she had suffered a lot of skin damage from sun exposure over many years. Too busy looking after her family to look after herself, she had never really cared for her skin. Voluma was ideal for filling out this patient’s cheeks where she was particularly hollow, and for augmenting her chin, smoothing her jaw line, and filling her puppet lines. She also received Juvederm in her nasolabial folds, and above the lip in the smoker’s lines. Juvederm was also used to provide lip augmentation. Toronto patients are often unaware that lips tend to lose volume and get thinner with age. Restoring fullness to the lips makes for a more youthful appearance. She had botox cosmetic in the glabellar area, crow’s feet and chin. She was advised to stop smoking and use sun screen. She returns for maintenance injections every few months and skin care and is interested in a face and brow lift in future.
