For Extensive Lines And Wrinkles It’s Facelift For Brampton Woman.

This 75 year old mother and grandmother was very unhappy with her facial appearance.  She had had a Mini facelift called the “Lifestyle Lift” in Florida the year before, but had not felt it gave her great improvement.  She had been advised for health reason to lose weight and had succeeded in dropping 57 pounds, which only served to exaggerate the lax hanging skin in her face and neck and the deep wrinkles she didn’t like. Dr. Weinberg discussed a number of options at her fist consultation. He determined that she had a low sitting brow and drooping eyelids in addition to deep lines and wrinkles diffusely in the face, jowls and hanging skin and fat in her neck. She could benefit from a brow lift, eyelid surgery and face and neck lifts, but it was explained she would still have some deep lines afterward as these were unavoidable. She mulled over her options and decided to proceed with a Long Scar, or conventional full facelift and neck lift, and not to have the brow or eyelids done. As she did have some health issues, an assessment with the anaesthetist was carried out prior to surgery to insure she was safe for surgery. She had She had incisions on either side of the face in the hairline and down in front and behind the ear as well as incisions to open the neck. Lipsouction was employed to smooth the neck and remove excess fat. and excess skin was removed, the muscles tightened and the skin redraped.  The surgery took 5 hours, and she was discharged later that day. She returned for suture removal at 5 days and was healing well. Photos show her at 1 month with much improved skin tone. She is more taught in face and neck, but not overly tight. Lines and wrinkles, while not gone, are much less, and her neck is vastly improved. Overall she looks at least a decade younger, and still very natural.
