Vision Improved After Blepharoplasty

This 90 year old woman reported poor vision because of her drooping eyelids. On examination she had obvious significant ptosis of both lids. Having performed hundreds of eyelid surgeries in his practices in plastic surgery in Toronto and Mississauga, Dr. Weinberg advised her that in experienced hands blepharoplasty is a fairly simple procedure, which is well tolerated even in extreme age. She handled the procedure beautifully under local anaesthesia, had minor bruising and swelling and was back to usual activities within the week.
