Facelift Gives Toronto Business Woman The Competitive Edge:

At 58 this successful business woman did not like the drooping brows and jowls she was starting to see in the mirror. With a relaxed attitude toward plastic surgery, she was game for anything that would help maintain a youthful appearance in a competitive work place. At her initial consultation with Toronto Facelift expert Dr. Weinberg, she expressed the wish for very high sitting brows, and she wanted to look “ tight”. She underwent full facelift and brow lift, as well as liposuction in the area of the chin and jaw. The brow lift involved an incision 6 cm beyond the hairline, concealed by hair, and for the facelift the incision extended in front and behind the ear, hidden in the folds of skin and the tragus of the ear. Dissection of the layers of tissue was partially achieved with “ hydrodissection” ie with infiltration of saline water and xylocaine local anaesthesia. This allowed the necessary lifting and stitching of the underlying muscles and tissue, and removal of small amounts of redundant skin. A small incision was made in the chin to allow for local liposuction. Drains were placed, to be removed at her post op visit, and she recovered well , returning to normal activities within two weeks.
