After Breast Reduction & Breast Implant, Toronto Teen with Significant Breast Asymmetry Has New Self Confidence.

This 16 year old girl first came to see Dr. Weinberg when she was age 14 complaining that her right breast was significantly smaller than the left, and the left was “ptotic”, meaning it sat lower and drooped as compared with the right. She reported that during puberty the one breast had simply stopped growing. She was very self conscious about her breast appearance and was interested in reducing the size of the left breast and having a right breast augmentation. Toronto plastic surgeon Dr. Weinberg advised her to wait until enough time had elapsed after onset of menses to insure that her breast development was complete. She underwent a left breast reduction and lift, and breast augmentation on the right with a 150cc silicone implant, under the muscle with an inframammary approach.
