Dr. Laura Schiffer

Medical Injector

Dr. Schiffer earned her medical degree from McMaster Medical School before receiving board certification in neurology. She also completed a fellowship in facial pain at Toronto’s Mount Sinai Hospital before beginning practice in 1996.

Dr. Schiffer has many years of experience with prescription wrinkle injection having used these products for many therapeutic indications in the field of neurology. She began injecting to treat migraines, chronic headaches, and facial spasms and gradually amassed tremendous experience injecting for cosmetic purposes. With the assistance of her husband, Dr. Michael Weinberg, Dr. Schiffer has gone on to perfect her skills in other injectables such as hyaluronic acid fillers. She’s even undergone professional training with Allergan and Medicis, 2 manufacturers of today’s most popular injectables.

Thanks to her years of experience, Dr. Schiffer has amassed a wealth of knowledge regarding injectable treatments and other skincare options, and her gentle approach and natural-looking results have earned her a following among Toronto and Mississauga-area patients.

Sandy Melo

Office Manager & Surgical Coordinator

With more than 15 years of experience in the medical field, Sandy has been proudly serving our practice since 2012. As practice manager, she is responsible for overall operations of the office, supervising our staff, and managing day-to-day responsibilities.

Sandy also coordinates our surgical procedures. She works closely with Dr. Weinberg during the initial consultation and helps guide our patients through their pre- and postoperative periods. She has the knowledge and experience to make your journey and decisions more comfortable. Her kind, caring personality helps ease patient concerns.

Sandy has an excellent working relationship with both staff and patients, and she’s committed to patient satisfaction in order to keep our practice running smoothly.

Laura Alves, RN

Nurse Manager

Laura is a Registered Nurse (RN) with nearly 20 years of experience in hospital and private practice settings.  Her nursing history includes birthing suites, fertility, and cosmetic surgery. 

With her passion for cosmetic procedures, Laura decided to certify in BOTOX® and dermal filler injections and joined our clinic as a nurse injector in Mississauga in 2021.

As a Nurse Manager, her main goal is to ensure that all patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures are given the best care throughout their journey with our clinic. 

Laura loves performing non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as BOTOX® and dermal filler injections, Ultherapy®, microneedling, and chemical peels.  Laura’s passion as a cosmetic nurse in Mississauga is to build a trusting rapport with her patients by helping them create a plan to achieve their skin care goals.

Susane Moldvan

Medical Aesthetician

Susane has practiced as a medical aesthetician for more than 13 years. Her extensive skincare experience is unrivaled, and she takes a special interest in laser hair removal and IPL treatments. Susane is also the original creator of the “medical facial.” Her advanced training and knowledge have allowed her to educate her clients about the safest and most effective treatments available today.

Lucy Cordeiro

Administrative Assistant & Patient Coordinator

Lucy joined the practice in December 2007. She’s worked in various capacities over the years, and she’s especially skilled at front desk support, such as registration, scheduling, and collecting patient information. Her personable attitude helps everyone around her feel at ease, and Lucy’s devotion is a true asset to our patients.

Lusiana Toste

Front Office Support

Lusiana greets our patients warmly both in person and on the telephone. She combines her unending kindness with many years of customer service experience to make your visit pleasant and effortless. Her gentleness and devotion are true assets for our patients and staff alike.

Lusiana is fluent in both English and Romanian.
